The Manchester United boss took matters into his own hands

"United manager John Murtagh and chief executive Richard Arnold are playing a role in the reconciliation of Jadon Sancho and Eric ten Hague," the Daily Mail reported on Thursday.

"Mourinho and Arnold are at the center of talks to resolve the dispute between Sancho and Van Gaal."

Sancho burst onto the scene at Dortmund, making a name for himself with dazzling performances despite his young age.

Sancho's performances had big clubs salivating, with Manchester United being the most aggressive.

After an aggressive courtship, the Red Devils finalized the signing of Sancho in July 2021. The transfer fee was around 120 billion.

Expectations were high for Sancho. However, he kept his head down. He struggled to fit in at United, and his underwhelming performances earned him the dubious distinction of being called a bust.

Sancho has had a dismal season. He's only appeared in three games as a substitute. He's played just 76 minutes.

Sancho hasn't been able to turn things around, as he was left out of the roster for the away game against Arsenal on April 4.

Sancho's exclusion from the roster for the away game against Arsenal sparked an incident.

Ten Hagh and Sancho had a sniping match, which resulted in a protest.

"I watched Sancho in training and decided to leave him out of the squad for the Arsenal game," Van Gaal explained.

"He has to show the right level for United. The manager has the right to choose the players. Sancho didn't have the final say," adding that his performance in training was below expectations.

Sancho was furious and took to social media to refute the report, writing: "Don't believe what you're reading. It's completely false. I've been working 토토사이트 hard in training all week," he said.

"I am a scapegoat. I have been treated unfairly for a long time because of this," he wrote.

Sancho's dissatisfaction with the club dates back to his early days at United.

According to the Mirror, United promised to give Sancho the number seven shirt when he joined the club, but this was not honored.

The clash between Sancho and Van Gaal is reminiscent of the case of Cristiano Ronaldo.

In an interview with celebrity journalist Piers Morgan, Ronaldo slammed United, saying things like "Eric [van Gaal] didn't respect me" and "there's been no progress since Sir Alex [Ferguson]".

Ronaldo was on United's list to be sold and headed to the Saudi Arabian league as if he was being forced out.

There was a sense that Van Gaal was willing to forgive Sancho and held talks with him, but they were unable to resolve their differences.

United are determined to break the ice. The chairman and chief executive have taken it upon themselves to try and reconcile Sancho and Van Gaal.
